Since 1997 we have been UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 certified, a management system that monitors the quality of our business processes and organisation and demonstrates the value of our products and services, integrated with customer satisfaction. The fact that we have chosen to adopt this system lays the foundations for an approach based on continuous improvement, which is the driving force behind the company’s organisation and which pushes us to improve day after day. This takes the form of improving workplaces, developing machinery and equipment, and reducing accidents and risks.
Today, we are excited to share an important milestone we have just achieved: in June, we obtained the renewal of the UN EN ISO 14001:2015 Certification, a certification that demonstrates that Dellas, and the people who are part of it, strive every day to achieve excellence, not only in products, but also in the way we work.
What UNI EN ISO 14001:2015 Certification is and why it is so important to us
The UNI EN ISO 14001:2015 is the recognition of an Environmental Management System that we have implemented and rigorously follow. It is like a “compass” that guides us in minimising the impact of our activities on the environment.
In practice, it means that:
- we identify and monitor the environmental impacts of our work: from energy and water consumption to waste management and emissions;
- we are committed to continuous improvement: that is, we constantly seek new solutions to reduce our environmental impact and prevent pollution;
- we comply with environmental laws and regulations: that is, we go beyond mere compliance and seek to anticipate and exceed standards;
- we involve everyone: so that the effectiveness of this system depends on the contribution of every person who works in the company, every day.
Being a certified company means that we take responsibility for improving every day, working in an honest, sustainable and safety-conscious way.
Having a certified quality system means adopting an organised, transparent and traceable way of working that complies with international standards and ensures that every stage, from the design of a product to its delivery, is monitored and improved over time. This translates into: focusing on the needs of an entire market, the working conditions of people and the efficiency of production processes.
