There are some things that can be conveyed through a brochure and a technical data sheet. The Marmomac trade fair, however, is something to be experienced in person, because being here, for us, means rethinking the value of coming together. We have decided not to exhibit products, not to shout about our latest innovations, and not to shut ourselves away in quiet offices. Instead, we have created an experience designed to leave a lasting impression on those who choose to be here, to make the journey, to stop by and to take the time to engage with us.
That is why, once again this year, we have chosen to transform our stand into a living space: a place where technology, materials, colour, sound and human connection come together.
A stand that changes, just as people do
The stand design stems from a simple yet profound idea: human beings are constantly evolving. Tools change, technologies change, markets change, and so do the ways in which we describe our work. What remains central, however, is the need to come together, observe, listen and build shared meanings.
At our stand, Hall 7, Stand C2, this evolution will take shape day by day through a work created live by the Veronese artist Serafino Rudari, accompanied by a musician. Colour and sound will become part of the same creative gesture. Brushes striking the wooden surface that serves as the canvas, material taking shape on the wall, rhythm accompanying the artist’s movement: all will contribute to the creation of a work to be experienced through both sight and sensation.
We work every day with high-precision tools, designed to cut, polish, shape and transform natural stone into technical and design solutions. This is another reason why the dialogue between technology and art lies at the heart of the artistic project conceived for Marmomac. On the one hand, there is precision, control and method. On the other, colour, instinct and the freedom of gesture.
The colours chosen for the artwork will be symbols capable of evoking different worlds, different journeys and different experiences. Each visitor will be able to interpret them in their own way, recognising in the shapes and shades something that resonates with their own way of seeing, working and imagining. Because that is how art works: it speaks to everyone, but it never says the same thing to each person.
Showtime: the moment when the opera comes to life
Throughout the exhibition, there will be a series of live performances in which the painting process will be accompanied by sound. These will be genuine show-time moments: brief interludes to be enjoyed at the stand, during which the public can watch the artwork take shape and immerse themselves in an experience that combines artistic gesture, rhythm and material.
The viewer’s gaze will be invited to rise towards a more abstract and surreal dimension, where forms break free from static stillness and begin to interact with colour, movement and sound. It is a metaphor that reflects the way Dellas spa interprets its own work: always starting from the concrete reality of processes, materials and actual production requirements, before developing solutions capable of looking beyond the standard.

A slower, more human pace – in other words, an opportunity to pause, observe and rediscover the value of being physically present in a professional setting.
The opening live performance is scheduled for Tuesday 22 September, from 11.00 to 11.30.
Two further live shows are then scheduled for the afternoon.
